Lambda Delta Lambda is a sisterhood with open minds and regard ourselves as not being the typical sorority. While we are a greek organization our message to the campus and community is one of acceptance and hope for equality.
We are a Progressive, Queer-friendly Sorority/social network on campus that is accepting of all social identities and backgrounds.
Lambda Delta Lambda not only seeks to provide a safe space for the diverse women of the UC Davis campus, but endeavors to bring them together to create an active, growing and progressive social community.
While our organization is mostly geared toward queer-friendly women, and their like-minded male allies, we often find that our members express interest in various events having to do with women's rights and other broader human rights issues.
So come have a blast, relax, and meet some fantastic friends! Don't think you're the sorority type? No worries, because we are not your typical sorority.
History
Our Alpha Chapter was founded at UCLA in 1988, soon followed by the Beta Chapter at San Francisco State. We, at UC Davis, are the Gamma Chapter, founded in 1998. We also have three other chapters in Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Nevada.
